I began my fitness career in 2003 when I completed my Certificate 3 in Fitness and taught classes at a local fitness centre for about six months. After having my first two children and letting my qualification lapse, I wanted to go back and do more.
I re-commenced study in 2009 and completed my Certificate 3 again & added Certificate 4 to become a Personal Trainer as well as Group Fitness Instructor. There have been many courses completed throughout the years and my interests have expanded greatly.
I have taken the next step and am now in my 3rd Year of studying Clinical Exercise Physiology through University of New England. This will enable me to work deeper in rehabilitation, movement analysis and healing through exercise. Exciting stuff with lots of extra knowledge and less sleep ;).
Today I specialise in Rehab Training, Children’s Exercise, Older Adults, Pre and Post Natal Exercise, Functional Mobility, Yoga, Kids Yoga, Boxing, Bootcamp (Adults and Children), Metafit (HIIT Training), Metapwr (Metabolic Resistance Training) and Functional Strength and Conditioning.
In 2015, I competed in my first natural Bodybuilding Competition. The balance between working, training, eating, my four children and maintaining my home – it was such an amazing and tough journey and I look forward to competing again in the future.
I thoroughly enjoy one-on-one and group personal training. It is so empowering to encourage and assist people to achieve their health and fitness goals and discover their physical and mental strength potentials.
